stalker,
who
tried
to
barge
into
her
house
in
Mumbai
on
November
19.
Finally,
the
Mumbai
police
are
successful
in
nabbing
the
person
with
the
help
of
her
CCTV
footage
on
Sunday.
On
Monday,
the
actress
rubbished
the
stalker's
claim
that
he
visited
her
Bandra
residence
to
seek
a
job
for
his
brother.

During
the
investigation,
the
stalker
reportedly
claimed
that
he
did
not
intend
to
scare
her
and
he
was
there
to
seek
a
job
for
his
brother.
In
a
statement
to
the
media,
Shruti
Hassan
said,
"In
all
the
time
this
man
was
on
the
set,
he
never
approached
me
or
my
staff
for
a
job.
If
he
had
approached
us
for
a
job
we
would
have
dealt
with
it
appropriately."
The
27-year-old
actress,
daughter
of
veteran
actors
Kamal
Hassan
and
Sarika,
says
she
trusts
the
Mumbai
police
to
take
the
"best"
step.
Shruti
Hassan
added,
"But
as
a
single
woman
living
alone
in
Mumbai,
I
take
serious
offence
to
someone
coming
to
my
house
and
trying
to
barge
through
my
door.
I
trust
the
Mumbai
police
will
know
best
how
to
deal
with
such
an
act."
However,
Shruti
Hassan
took
to
her
Twitter
page
on
Sunday
evening
to
thank
the
Mumbai
police
for
their
support.
The
actress
tweeted,
"My

felt

to
the

for
their
support
and
efficiency
at
this
trying
time
-
so
grateful."
