Sridevi to be seen in Rajamouli's Baahubali!

Prabhas and Rana starrer Baahubali, though still in pre-production stage, is making news already in the industry. Prabhas will be playing the lead role and Rana will be acting in a negative role. This movie is directed by Rajamouli and produced by Devineni Prasad.

Rajamouli, who has made blockbuster hits like Magadheera and Eega, will be directing Baahubali. Baahubali, a historical drama, is said to stand apart from the routine Telugu movies. He is planning to make this movie one of the greatest movies in the history of Indian cinema and is making sure that he picks the best actors for this mega project.

The latest news from the industry is that, Sridevi or Sushmita Sen will be acting in the movie. Either of them will be playing the mother of Prabhas and Rana. The news is yet to be confirmed by the producers. But what we are sure is that the producer Devineni Prasad is ready to get any actor Rajamouli wants, and is ready to pay any amount of remuneration needed.

Anushka will be the lead actress and Sudeep who played the negative role in the superhit movie Eega will be appearing in a small role. Sudeep confirmed this in an interview to Oneinida crew.

Sridevi's last Telugu movie was S P Parashuram, and the Telugu industry has been awaiting the Athiloka Sundari's (Universal Beauty) return ever since. She has officially returned to the big screen with English Vinglish, which was dubbed into Telugu. It will not be long when she acts in a Telugu movie. Will that be Baahubali or not, we just have to wait and watch.
