Photos: Sushant-Baba Sehgal perform Adda song at IPL match

Hyderabad: The IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday evening rocked to greater heights with Telugu film Adda leading stars actor Sushant, Shwetha Bharadwaj and Baba Sehgal live performance that enthralled the packed stadium.

The audience at the stadium got the first feel of the title track from the soon to be released Telugu film Adda sung by Baba Sehgal. Talking to Oneindia, actor Sushanth said, "It's awesome to perform in front of such a charged up cricket fans. It raises our adrenaline to dizzy heights. I am sure they loved as much as we loved it."

Swetha Bharadwaj, who did the special song with Sushanth, was super excited performing the title song live with Sushanth. It was a scintillating song and dance combo that electrified the match ambiance. It is the second time Baba Sehgal is singing for Sushanth after 'Chori chori' song he sang for his first film Kalidasu.

The title track of Adda has been composed by Anoop Rubens, who belted out hit albums one after the other like Ishq and Lovely. He has also given the background score to the Bollywood film Buddah Hoga Tera Baap. Talking about his music, Sushanth said, "The music is novel and the choreography is superbly done. I'm super excited with the response we got from this huge cricket frenzy people in the stadium. I hope it will stir the same vibrancy in theatres too."

Producer Chintalapudi Srinivas Rao, A Naga Susheela, director Sai Karthik Reddy, lyricist of the title song Krishna Chaitanya were also present in the stadium to support the trio Sushanth, Baba Sehgal and Shweta. The movie has Sushanth and Shanvi in the leads.

Adda is a romantic-action entertainer, which is made with a tagline 'Place to Love'. Sai Karthik Reddy has directed and written the story for the film. Producer Chintalapudi Srinivasa has shelled out hefty amount on its production.

Bollywood actress Shweta Bhardwaj, who was last seen in Telugu with Mahesh Babu in Businessman, is coming back to Tollywood as hot item girl with the movie Adda. She has already shot for the item number at a special set erected at Annapurna Studios.

The film was launched in Annapurna Studios at Hyderabad on July 28. It has been shot in a different parts of the state. A few portions have been shot in special sets created in Ramoji Film City and Annapurna Studios.

Anoop Rubens has composed music, while Arun Kumar handled the cinematography for the film Adda, which is expected to hit the screens in May, 2013.
