Hyderabad:
The
residence
and
offices
of
producers
Dil
Raju
and
DVV
Danayya
have
reportedly
been
raided
by
Income
Tax
Authorities
today
(January
10).
Surprisingly,
the
IT
raids
are
conducted
just
a
day
after
the
release
of
Danayya's
Naayak
and
a
day
before
the
release
of
Raju's
much-hyped
production
Seethamma
Vakitlo
Sirimalle
Chettu
(SVSC),
which
will
hit
the
screens
across
the
world.
Dil
Raju
is
producing
the
big
budget
film
Seethamma
Vaakitlo
Sirimalle
Chettu
followed
by
Ram
Charan's
Yevadu.
It
was
speculated
earlier
that
both
these
films
are
valued
at
nearly
Rs
100
crores
and
the
producer
would
be
brought
under
the
IT
scanner.
It
was
also
rumoured
that
DVV
Danayya
would
also
come
under
the
IT
scanner
over
his
big-budget
movie
Naayak
starring
Ram
Charan
Teja.
As
speculated,
the
IT
sleuths
have
reportedly
invaded
Dil
Raju's
residence
in
Srinagar,
his
distribution
and
production
offices
in
search
of
important
documents
and
account
details.
Another
rumour
that
is
circulating
on
the
Twitter
is
that
IT
officials
have
also
conducted
raids
on
the
office
of
DVV
Danayya.
But
an
official
announcement
about
both
raid
is
yet
to
come.
However,
this
is
not
the
first
time
that
IT
sleuths
are
conducting
raids
on
Dil
Raju's
office.
After
the
sensational
hit
of
Brinadavanam,
his
distribution
and
production
offices
were
raided
by
the
Income
Tax
officials
in
the
city.
But
interestingly,
nothing
was
revealed
about
the
IT
investigation.
It
should
be
seen
whether
they
will
make
an
official
announcement
about
the
latest
raids
or
not.
