Trisha turns Best Telugu Actress of 2012
Trisha Krishanan has topped the poll of Best Telugu Actress of 2012. In the survey conducted by Oneindia, the popular South Indian star has bagged highest number of votes leaving behind other actresses like Tamanna, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nayantara, Anushka Shetty and Ileana D'Cruz.
In December, Oneindia had conducted a month-long poll survey for Best Telugu Actress of 2012. Actresses like Trisha, Tamanna, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nayantara, Anushka Shetty and Ileana D'Cruz, who have entertained the Telugu film goers in the year, were nominated for the No 1 position.
However, thousands of Oneindia readers had taken part in the poll survey and cast vote for their favourite heroines. Finally, it was Trisha Krishanan, who has been chosen as the Best Telugu Actress of 2012. Anushka Shetty and Ileana D'Cruz have failed to make it to the list of top five Best Telugu Actresses.

Trisha
Trisha Krishanan had two big releases like Bodyguard and Dammu in 2012. She had played a village leader's daughter Keerthi in Bodyguard and a rich girl in Sathya in Dammu. Her performance in both films has impressed the viewers, who have given her 45.3% votes. With this, she has become the Best Telugu Actress of 2012.
Tamanna
Tamanna has acted in four big ticket films like Racha, Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, Endhukante Premanta and Rebel and her performance in all of them was raved by both critics and film goers. It was expected that she would top the poll survey. But she has landed in the second spot with 24.8% votes.
Samantha
Samantha is another actress, who has impressed the Telugu movie buffs in 2012. She had two big releases like Eega and YVM, and her performance in them was one of the main highlights in these films. She has landed in the third spot with 17.5% votes.
Kajal Aggarwal
In 2012, Kajal Aggarwal had two releases like The Businessman and Sarocharu, and she has fourth Best Telugu Actress by bagging 5.8% votes.
Nayantara
A year after the release of Sri Rama Rajyam, Nayantara made her comeback to Tollywood with the movie Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum in 2012. She had a big scope for her role in it and she has managed to impress the audience. But she has failed to get the top spot. She has become fifth Best Telugu Actress with 2.9%.
