Telugu
movie
Doosukeltha
starring
Vishnu
Manchu
and
Lavanya
Tripathi
in
leads,
has
hit
the
screens
on
October
17
and
got
good
opening
at
the
Box
Office.
Of
late,
an
interesting
news
is
doing
rounds
in
the
film
nagar.
The
buzz
is
that
director
Veeru
Potla
initially
wanted
to
do
this
movie
with
Power
Star
Pawan
Kalyan.
He
had
even
approached
the
actor
with
the
story,
but
the
latter
rejected
it
over
some
unknown
reason.
Veeru
Potla,
who
started
his
career
as
a
screenwriter,
turned
director
with
Manchu
Manoj's
film
Bindaas.
After
the
success
of
his
second
film
Ragada,
the
director
prepared
the
script
of
Doosukeltha
and
first
approached
Pawan
Kalyan
with
the
story.
The
No.
1
Telugu
actor
turned
down
his
offer,
before
letting
him
approach
another
hero,
he
reportedly
helped
Veeru
to
add
a
few
masala
elements
into
the
story.
It
is
not
clear
why
Pawan
Kalyan
rejected
Veeru
Potla's
offer,
but
everyone
must
appreciate
his
courtesy.
This
is
not
the
first
time
that
PK
has
helped
other
heroes
indirectly
in
getting
good
scripts.
In
fact,
many
of
the
Puri
Jagannath
and
Raviteja
combo
movies
were
actually
set
for
the
Power
Star.
But
not
many
in
the
Telugu
film
industry
know
about
the
reason
behind
his
refusal.
