Venkatadri Express (3 Days) First Weekend Collection At Box Office

Merlapaka Gandhi's debut directorial venture Venkatadri Express has got brilliant opening at the ticket counters across the globe. The Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh starrer has concluded the first weekend with a superb collection at the worldwide Box Office. Trade experts from Tollywood say that movie has become the biggest opener for Sundeep.

Having caught the viewers' attention with its promos, Venkatadri Express opened to decent response with its occupancy ranging between 45% and 55% in the first show on Friday and it picked up well in the later shows. A positive word of mouth took its business upwards on Saturday and Sunday. Looking at the figures Trade analysts opine that it was a good improvement for a film of an actor like Sundeep.

Venkatadri Express, which has been made with a medium budget, has collected approximately Rs 13.50 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 3.5 cr on Fri, Rs 4.5 cr on Sat and Rs 5.5 cr on Sun. Sources from the production team claim that the movie has almost recovered its production cost in just three days.
