Hyderabad:
Actress
Vidya
Balan
is
all
set
to
make
her
grand
comeback
to
films
after
her
marriage
with
her
boyfriend
Siddharth
Roy
Kapoor,
who
is
the
CEO
of
UTV
Motion
Pictures.
Her
next
outing
will
be
her
next
biggest
female-centric
film
after
the
huge
success
of
Kahaani.
The
Malayali
actress
will
reportedly
play
legendary
Indian
Carnatic
singer
MS
Subbulakshmi
in
this
much-hyped
movie.
Reports
suggest
that
cinematographer
Rajeev
Menon
is
now
working
on
a
biopic
of
singer
MS
Subbulakshmi.
This
movie
will
reportedly
be
revolving
around
life
and
times
of
the
Carnatic
vocalist.
It
is
simultaneously
made
in
Telugu,
Tamil
and
Hindi.
Vidya
Balan
has
reportedly
given
her
consent
to
play
her
role
in
the
film.
MS
Subbulakshmi
was
born
in
Madurai
and
her
grandmother
Akkammal
was
a
violinist.
She
started
learning
Carnatic
music
at
an
early
age
and
trained
in
Carnatic
music
under
the
tutelage
of
Semmangudi
Srinivasa
Iyer.
She
was
the
first
musician
ever
to
be
awarded
the
Bharat
Ratna
and
the
first
Indian
musician
to
receive
the
Ramon
Magsaysay
award.
The
biopic
of
MS
Subbulakshmi
is
touted
to
be
a
big
budget
production
and
the
shooting
of
the
film
is
expected
to
begin
in
June
or
July,
2013.
However,
Vidya
Balan
earlier
played
South
Indian
sex
siren
Silk
Smitha
and
won
lots
of
accolades
from
critics
besides
winning
some
Best
Actress
awards.
Now,
this
is
going
to
be
another
landmark
project
in
her
