It
is
usually
Hero
Vishnu
Manchu's
performance
in
cinema
that
most
people
are
interested
in.
Today,
Actor
Vishnu
Manchu
has
a
different
message.
"I'm
here
to
vote," the
actor
was
quoted
saying
on
Tuesday
morning
after
being
spotted
at
the
local
Panchayat
Polls
in
Tirupathi.
He
was
among
the
early
few
who
went
to
cast
their
vote.
"Every
Election
Day
is
important.
If
you
choose
to
throw
it
away,
don't
complain
down
the
road
that
you
don't
like
the
choice
after
poll
results
are
declared," Vishnu
Manchu
added.
When
the
actor
arrived
to
cast
his
vote
early
today,
the
police
had
to
resort
to
mild-lathi
charge
to
stop
the
swelling
crowd
who
were
rushing
to
catch
the
glimpse
of
the
star.
Despite
his
tough
and
tiresome
schedule,
the
actor
has
always
found
the
time
to
lend
a
hand
to
those
less
fortunate.
The
actor
has
adopted
10
villages
near
Sri
Vidyanikethan
Engineering
College
in
Tirupati
to
provide
the
opportunity
for
the
under
privileged
community
to
access
good
education,
good
Sanitation,
clean
water
and
access
to
primary
health.
The
village
development
model
is
a
true
partnership
with
local
communities
as
they
are
actively
consulted
and
involved
throughout
the
development
process.
The
idea
behind
his
adoption
is
to
create
holistic
and
sustainable
solutions
to
the
challenges
faced
by
village
folks,
helping
children
and
families
become
economically
empowered.
The
actor
is
keen
to
expand
the
model
in
other
villages
once
these
villages
become
self
sustainable.
