Will Yevadu Be Another Magadheera In Ram Charan's Career?

By Ians English

Ram Charan Teja's latest outing Yevadu, which is one of the most-hyped and highly-anticipated Telugu movies, is all set to release in theatres across the globe on July 31, exactly four years after his film Magadheera hit the screens and became Blockbuster. Yevadu was initially slated to hit the marque on July 25, but the makers of the movie have postponed it

"The film was earlier set to be released on July 25, but it has been pushed to July 31 for technical reasons. One of other reasons is that on July 31 four years back, Magadheera had hit the screens and changed the fate of Ram Charan's career," a source from the film's unit, told IANS.

SS Rajamouli-directed Magadheera was one of the highly successful Telugu films of the recent past. It changed the fate of the lead actors Ram Charan and Kajal Agarwal in the industry. The source added, "There were also talks that the makers wanted to release the film on July 27 coinciding with the birthday of the director, but the idea was later dropped."

Yevadu has been directed by Vamsi Paidipally and Dil Raju has shelled out a hefty sum on its making. The movie features Amy Jackson and Shruti Haasan alongside Ram Charan Teja. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal will also be seen in a 15 minute cameo, which is said to be a key portion in the script. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for its soundtracks some of which have already become chartbusters.
