Hyderabad:
It
is
known
that
Zanjeer,
which
is
a
remake
of
1973's
cult-classic
with
the
same
name,
is
bilingual
film,
which
is
being
simultaneously
made
in
Hindi
and
Telugu.
While
the
Hindi
remake
has
been
titled
Zanjeer,
the
film
goers
down
south
were
eagerly
waiting
to
know
about
the
title
for
its
Telugu
version.
Finally,
the
makers
of
this
much-hyped
film
have
announced
Toofan
as
its
title.
Earlier,
it
was
being
speculated
that
the
Telugu
version
of
Zanjeer
would
be
titled
'Jwala'.
To
silence
these
rumours,
director
Apoorva
Lakhia
took
to
his
Twitter
account
and
announced
the
titled.
On
his
official
page,
the
director
wrote,
"Zanjeer
in
Telugu
will
officially
be
called
Toofan."
Actors
Ram
Charan
Teja
and
Priyanka
Chopra
are
playing
the
lead
in
the
film
Zanjeer,
which
also
features
Sanjay
Dutt,
Srihari,
Prakash
Raj,
Mahie
Gill
and
Atul
Kulkarni
in
other
important
roles.
The
movie
is
nearing
completion
with
just
a
few
days
of
shooting
left
now.
Apoorva
Lakhia
has
jointly
produced
the
film
with
Amit
Mehra.
It
has
music
by
Devi
Sri
Prasad.
