Eros International is a leading Indian distribution company, which mainly deals with Hindi and English films. In a bid to expand its business, the company entered South with the distribution of Superstar Mahesh Babu's 1: Nenokkadine. Though it did not reap the expected amount of prospects from the film, Eros has once again joined hands with the actor for the distribution of his latest outing Aagadu.
The bosses of Eros International have pinned hopes on Aagadu. In a statement, Sunil Lulla, Managing Director of Eros, said, "We are very excited to once again join hands with 14 Reels and Mahesh Babu for this film. With its hugely popular star cast, compelling screenplay and high octane entertainment, we are confident Aagadu will recreate the magic of Mahesh Babu-Srinu Vaitla combination."
Aagadu has been produced with a whopping amount of Rs 55 crores by 14 Reels Entertainment and it has earned decent amount of table profit from its pre-release business. As per reports, the movie has garnered Rs 75 crores from its satellite, music, distribution and other rights. Directed by Srinu Vaitla, the film is all set to hit the theatres across the globe on September 19.
Eros International is releasing Aagadu in collaboration with 14 Reels Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Creations. The company has planned to release the movie in 2000 screens worldwide. The film marks the second time collaboration of Mahesh Babu, Srinu Vaitla and 14 Reels after Dookudu. It should be seen whether this combo will repeat the magic of Dookudu with Aagadu.
