Allu Arjun, Jr NTR Launch Ravi Teja's Kick 2; Opening Ceremony Photos

Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Young Tiger Junior NTR launched Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and director Surender Reddy's second combo movie Kick 2 at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad this morning (August 20). It was a grand opening ceremony, which witnessed the presence of many dignitaries from the Telugu film industry. The director says that his team will start shooting for the film from today.

Addressing the media at the muhurtam ceremony, Surender Reddy said that Kick 2 is not a sequel to his 2009 Blockbuster movie Kick. The director said, "We start shooting 'Kick 2' from today. It will be an action film, but will not have anything to do with the first part. It will be more or less an extension of Kick."

Actor Kalyan Ram, who had earlier produced Kick, will produce Kick 2 under his home banner NTR Arts Banner. Ravi Teja will play the lead in the movie. The makers are yet to finalise the rest of the cast. It is being rumoured that besides producing the film, Kalyan Ram will also play the baddie in it.

SS Thaman has been roped in to compose the music for Kick 2. The musician, who was supposed to attend the event with director Bobby, could not make it to its opening ceremony.
