Allu Arjun's Race Gurram Completed 50 Days In 159 Theatres

Director Surender Reddy's recent movie Race Gurram, which released in theatres across the globe on April 11, has successfully completed 50 days in a record number of theatres across Andhra Pradesh today. The Stylish Star Allu Arjun and actress Shruti Hassan starrer has made fabulous collection at the worldwide Box Office and become the highest grosser Telugu movie in 2014, beating Ram Charan Teja's Yevadu.

Despite facing the heat of IPL matches and Assembly and Lokh Sabha Elections, Race Gurram has managed to remain strong in many cinema halls across the state. According to reports, the film has completed 50 days in 159 centres in the state. It had a successful 50-day run in 53 screens in Nizam, 34 screens in Ceded, 7 screens in Nellore, 9 screens in Krishna, 12 screens in Guntur, 24 screens Vizag, 14 screens in East Godavari and 6 screens in West Godavari.

Race Gurram has collected Rs 54.31 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in the first four weeks and the makers are yet to reveal its collection in later three weeks. It has become the highest grosser Telugu movie in 2014. It has landed in the fourth place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu films after Attarintiki Daredi, Magadheera and Gabbar Singh.
