Allu Arjun's Race Gurram Trailer Review: Viewers Call It Promising Video

The much-awaited theatrical trailer of director Surender Reddy's Telugu movie Race Gurram starring Allu Arjun and Shruti Hassan in the leads, has been released on the internet via YouTube on March 23. The 2.18-minute video has received an overwhelming response from the viewers, who call it a promising piece from the director. It has been viewed by around 4.50 lakh viewers in less than 36 hours.

The trailer of Race Gurram hints that the movie is going to be a routine revenge drama, which is all about a guy avenging the murder of his brother. As per the video, Allu Arjun's brother, who is a police officer, is killed by goons. Then, he becomes cop to avenge his death. With the help of another cop played by Brahmanandam, how he takes revenge will form the crux of the movie.

As per the trailer, Race Gurram has rich production values, which are on par with Hollywood standards. But the movie does not seem to be different from Allu Arjun's previous outings. It is a regular formulaic film with all masala ingredients like action, dance, songs, comedy and sentiments. The director has created an interesting role, which is tailor-made for Bunny, but it lacks freshness, which might disappoint viewers.

The video of Race Gurram opens with the scene of Allu Arjun that was earlier featured in one of its teasers. Then it heads to provide a look at Bunny's trendy costumes, melodious and romantic songs, punch dialogues, beautiful cinematography, choreography and exotic locales. The movie is high on entertainment quotient and the video offers a look at the comedy timings of Bunny, Bramhanandam, Ali and MS Narayana. It also gives a hint at Allu Arjun's stylish action, gun shots and chasing scenes.

Produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) and Dr Venkateswara Rao, Race Gurram is a big budget movie, which has trendy music composed by SS Thaman. The film goers, who have watched the trailer, are impressed with it. Many say that it is a promising trailer by Surender Reddy and they are eagerly waiting for the release of the film.
