has
bought
the
distribution
rights
of
director
Praveen
Sattaru's
forthcoming
Telugu
film
Chandamama
Kathalu,
which
is
scheduled
to
release
in
theatres
on
April
25.
The
producer
will
release
this
much-awaited
anthology
movie
under
his
home
banner
worldwide.
Praveen
Sattaru
has
confirmed
the
news
about
Anil
Sunkara's
distributing
Chandamama
Kathalu.
The
director
told
IANS,
"He
recently
saw
the
film
and
was
really
impressed
with
it.
He
agreed
to
distribute
it
under
his
home
banner.
This
will
help
us
get
a
good
theatrical
release."
Besides
direction,
Praveen
Sattaru
has
also
jointly
produced
the
film
Chandamama
Kathalu.
The
filmmaker
says
the
film
will
be
life-affirming.
He
added,
"It's
an
emotional
story
about
experiences
that
make
up
life.
It
was
a
challenge
to
fit
eight
stories
and
to
give
all
my
actors
equal
screen
space
but
I'm
glad
I've
pulled
it
off.
I
hope
the
audience
will
also
appreciate
something
different
from
the
run-of-the-mill
type
films."
Chandamama
Kathalu
is
a
title
inspired
by
the
children's
book
of
the
same
name.
The
film
has
eight
sub-stories
revolving
around
love
and
the
lives
of
the
central
characters
in
the
sub-plots
get
intertwined
with
each
other.
The
movie
features
an
ensemble
cast
of
Naresh,
Aamani,
Lakshmi
Manchu,
Krishnudu,
Chaitanya
Krishna
and
Richa
Panai.
