Balakrishna's Legend (Friday) First Day Collection At AP Box Office

Nandamuri Balakrishna's much-talked about movie Legend, which released in theatres on March 28, has received an overwhelming response on its opening day. The Boyapati Srinu-directed action-packed entertainer has done fantastic collection at the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Box Office on Friday. It has broken the first day business records of Balayya's previous releases like Adhinayakudu and Srimannarayana.

Legend, which is one of the most awaited Telugu movies of 2014, had been creating positive buzz in the media ever since it hit the floor. In addition, the makers of the film had done massive promotions for it, prior its release. Trade experts had predicted that the movie would get an earth-shattering opening. As expected, this masala entertainer has started with a bang at the AP Box Office.

The movie registered 85% to 90% occupancy in the morning shows on Friday and a strong word of mouth took its business upwards in the later shows. Legend has collected approximately Rs 6.9 crore nett at the AP Box Office on its first day. Its area-wise breakup is Rs 1.71 cr in Nizam, Rs 1.72 cr in Ceeded, Rs 1.25 cr in Guntur, Rs 51 lakhs in Vizag, Rs 45 lakhs in Nellore, Rs 44 lakhs in Godavari West, Rs 40 lakhs in East and Rs 42 lakhs in Krishna,

Starring Balakrishna, Sonal Chauhan and Radhika Apte in leads, Legend has been made with a budget of Rs 40 crores and it has reportedly made table profit of Rs 6.50 crore before its release.
