Naga Chaitanya, young actor from Akkineni family. Elder son of veteran actor Akkikeni Nagarjuna and nephew of actor Vickory Ventakesh. He was born on November 23, 1986 in Hyderbad. Chaitu moved to Chennai and completed his schooling and college. He is actor by change, not by choice! He debuted in movie Josh, 2009.
The actor learnt dance and acting skills in acting schools of Mumbai and California to make debut on big screen. His movies Ye Maaya Chesave, 100% Love, Manam, Autonagar Surya, Tadkha and recent release Oka Laila Kosam are box office hits.
He is well known for his matured and romantic acting in movies. He has received best male debut actor in 2009, Filmfare Award South. His best role is Karthik from Ye Maaya Chesave, the remake of Tamil movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
Naga Chaitanya has won many hearts through movie Manam, for his amazing acting skills. Actor's recent release Oka Laila Kosam, has collected Rs 13 crores at box office and has received good appreciation from critics and audience.
