Filmmaker
Ram
Gopal
Varma,
who
is
all
set
to
release
his
next
Telugu
movie
Rowdy
on
April
4,
is
known
for
making
controversial
statement
just
before
the
release
of
his
movies.
In
the
past,
he
has
done
this
to
get
the
media
attention,
thereby
scoring
mileage
for
his
films.
The
director
is
now
at
it
again,
and
this
time
he
has
made
an
alleged
statement
against
actor-turned
politician
Chiranjeevi.
On
March
25,
Ram
Gopal
Varma
tweeted,
"Am
so
jealous
of
telangana
state's
shamsabad
airport
.At
Rowdy
evnt
saw
Balaji
tirupati
airport
n
wondered
if
it
will
evr
grow
to
shamsabad." Meanwhile,
the
filmmaker
ranted
against
Chiranjeevi.
On
his
Twitter
page,
he
wrote,
"@PawanKalyan:
congress
hataav
desh
bachaav...
.chiranjeevi
hataav
raashtr
bachaav."
This
is
not
the
first
time
that
Ram
Gopal
Varma
is
taking
a
dig
at
the
Chiranjeevi.
During
the
release
of
his
previous
movie
Satya
2,
the
filmmaker
had
made
some
critical
remarks
about
his
political
power.
In
a
series
of
tweets,
he
had
said
that
Power
Star
Pawan
Kalyan
is
more
powerful
than
his
brother
Chiru.
He
was
intended
to
divert
the
attention
Pawan's
fans
towards
his
Satya
as
he
had
huge
amount
of
fan
following.
Ram
Gopal
Varma
took
to
his
Twitter
page
this
morning
to
refute
the
rumours
that
he
would
contest
against
controversial
Congress
leader
Asaduddin
Owaisi.
The
Rowdy
director
tweeted,
"Reports
suggesting
that
I
am
contesting
against
Asaduddin
Owaisi
are
false."
