Drushyam Effect: RGV's Ice Cream Release Postponed

Ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming Telugu film Ice Cream is one of the most-awaited thrillers of Tollywood. The Navdeep and Tejaswi Madivada was expected to release in theatres on July 11. But the makers have delayed its release by one day. It is now set to hit the screens across the globe on July 12. Experts in the Telugu film industry call it the effect of Drushyam, which will release this Friday.

Ice Cream is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Rama Satyanarayana under the banner Bheemavaram Talkies. The movie has recently completed the censor formalities of the Regional Censor Board, which awarded it an 'A' certificate due to some horror and nude scenes featuring Tejaswi. The makers, who had initially planned to release it on July 11, have postponed it by one day. But they have not revealed the reason for the delay.

Ram Gopal Varma has introduced the flowcam technology to Tollywood with Ice Cream, which stars Navdeep and Tejaswi Madivada in the lead roles. Most of his recent releases have bombed at the Box Office. Now, the director has pinned lots of hope this movie, which is set to clash with Venkatesh Meena starrer Drushyam at the Box Office. We have to wait to know whether he will score a hit with it or not.
