Venkatesh's Drushyam Has Fantastic Opening At Box Office

True to trade expectations, the much-hyped Telugu movie Drushyam starring Victory Venkatesh and Meena in the leads, has got a fantastic opening at the Box Office. The tickets for all the shows on the first day are sold out and the exhibitors are exuberant, as the demand for multiplex and single screens show tickets worldwide are unprecedented.

The jubilant producer Suresh Babu, who is in all smiles, said "Drushyam is immersive. The crowd interacted with the film when we did the preview and we were quite confident that it will strike a great opening note. It was like we were all literally taken to a whole new story telling world. Everybody reacted in the same way. It was an emotional and a moment of joy for all of us."

Drushyam is a story of a simple family loving video cable operator whose life suddenly takes a frightening twist with his family involved in a do or die situation. How he musters courage and binds his family to follow his conviction forms the crux of the story. Produced by Suresh Productions and Rajkumar Theatres, the movie kicked off its campaign in a unique way.

Suresh Babu says, "Its family-thriller experience resulted in a grand opening. Its wholesome entertainment factor will be a big reason enough for crowds to keep coming back to theatres. It is also a treat for Venkatesh and Meena fans. He adds, "If you like it tell others. It will motivate film makers like us to charter into new genres with confidently."

Drushyam promises a nail biting entertainment journey to the audience and will keep every audience in the theatre, young, adults and older glued to the screen till the end.
