Paathshala marks an innovative edge, in the Telugu film industry, in terms of selection procedure wherein the cast and crew were finalised through the medium of social networking site -'Facebook'. The story of the film is quite simple and based on the lives of five best friends who graduate from the same college.

These five friends -two girls and three boys decide to go on a road trip after graduating from the college, what happens with them during the trip forms the crux of the story. The debut filmmaker has included lot of fun moments along with harsh realities which makes the script special and innovative.

Director Mahi V Raghav's interesting concept, the lead actors' performances, Rahul Raj's music, Sudheer Surendran's cinematography and its exotic locales are the main highlights of the film, according to critics and the viewers. Paathshala is a brilliant movie technically, it has grabbed much appreciation for camera work and music.
