Harshvardhan Rane's Dhoti Dance For Maaya Promotion

Customers of Kalamandir store recently here were in for a surprise when actor Harshvardhan Rane along his co-stars Avantika Mishra and Sushma Raj broke into a 'dhoti' dance as part of the promotions for their upcoming Telugu thriller Maaya. The film is directed by Neelakanta and produced by filmmaker Madhura Sreedhar, is about extrasensory perception and it is slated to release in theatres on August 1.

Harshavardhan Rane donned dhoti and shook legs with his co-stars in the song 'Pokiri raja eelavesinadey'. On Friday, Madhura Sreedhar posted the first look of the song on his Twitter page and wrote, "First ever DHOTHI DANCE by @harsha_actor @Avantika_mish @sushmaraj91 in MAAYA exclusive promo song. Stay tuned!" Today, he tweeted, "MAAYA promo song POKIRI RAAJA EELA VESINAADE remix video launch this week. All set for release on 1st AUG."

Talkinga about the song, Harshavardhan Rane told, "Madhura sir is always creative when it comes it publicity, so this time he came up with the theme of dhoti dance. Our director wanted us to just let ourselves loose, enjoy and be silly. We thoroughly enjoyed doing the dhoti dance and I just hope people were able to recognize us in those costumes."

Harshavardhan Rane has all thanks for director Neelakanta for this wonderful song. The actor added, "What I really loved about the theme of this song is that it's fun and it's totally contrary to the film which is very intelligent. I need to thank my director for giving us an opportunity to break into dance movements in a shopping mall."
