Krishna Launching Mahesh Babu's Aagadu First Look On His Birthday

Director Srinu Vaitla's upcoming movie Aagadu is one of the most-hyped Telugu films of 2013. Superstar Mahesh Babu is playing cop in the film and his fans are desperately waiting to see him in police getup. If all goes well, the first look of this action entertainer will be unveiled on May 31, which happens to be on 71st birthday of Prince's father, superstar G Krishna. Interestingly, the yesteryear actor will launch the poster.

After wrapping up a schedule in Bellary, the film unit is currently shooting Aagadu at a specially erected Rayalaseema Village set in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Talking to the media, Srinu Vaitla said, "We are planning to release the first look on Mahesh's father's birthday. If everything goes as planned, then we will release it on that day."

According to the director, the first look of Aagadu will be a birthday gift for Mahesh Babu's father on his 71st birthday. It should be recalled here that the producers of the recently released psychological thriller 1: Nenokkadine had released its first teaser on the same day in 2013.

Mahesh Babu has earlier appeared in police getup twice in movies like Pokkiri and Dookudu. This is for the third time he will be seen in the same costumes in Aagadu, which is produced by 14 Reels Entertainment. Tamanna Bhatia is playing the female lead in the film, which is scheduled to release in theatres on September 26, 2014.
