Mahesh Babu Denies Targeting Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna In Aagadu

Superstar Mahesh Babu has finally broken his silence on the controversial dialogue featured in the first look teaser of his upcoming movie Aagadu. The actor has denied the claims that those dialogues were meant to take a dig at his colleagues like Pawan Kalyan and Nandamuri Balakrishna. He says that they depict the attitude of his character in the film and there is nothing personal in them.

The teaser of Srinu Vaitla's Aagadu features Mahesh Babu uttering a dialogue: "Prathodu pululu, simhalu, enugulu, elakalatho yedhava comaprisons. Elaparam ochestundi (Everyone is comparing themselves to tigers, lions, elephants and rats. It's quite irritating)." Soon after the video hit the net, it was being speculated that this dialogue was aimed at Pawan Kalyan and Nandamuri Balakrishna.

After this dialogue controversy created lot of flutter in the media, the irritated Mahesh Babu responded to the reports and cleared the air. "It is the attitude of the character that is being portrayed on screen, that's all. It's not personal. Aagadu is a typical Srinu Vaitla movie. I play a cop and I am looking forward to its release." Deccan Chronicle quotes Mahesh Babu as saying about the dialogue.

"We didn't target anyone in the teaser and that wasn't our intention at all. In fact, I myself have said punch dialogues like that in Dookudu and this dialogue in Aagadu is a take-off from that. It's just the attitude of the character that I portray in the film. There's no question of taking a dig at others," the Times of India quotes Mahesh Babu as saying.

This dialogue also caused a huge fight between the fans of Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. Many fans of Pawan took to their Twitter pages to condemn Mahesh, while Prince fans were surprised by their attack. Continue to read their comments in the slideshow.
