Manchu Manoj Completes 10 Years As Hero: See His Debut Movie Photos
Manchu Manoj Kumar, the young son of Superstar Mohan Babu, started his career as child artiste with his father's 1993 movie Major Chandrakanth at the age of 10. He was launched as a hero with the film Donga Dongadi, which had hit the screens on August 6, 2004. This August 6, the actor has completed 10 years in the film industry. On this occasion, he was flooded with wishes by family, friends and fans.
On Wednesday, his father Dr Mohan Babu tweeted, "Congratulations to my son @HeroManoj1 on turning 10 yrs as a lead actor today. Many more years to come." His sister Lakshmi Manchu wrote on her Twitter page, "@HeroManoj1 keep rocking rockstar. Can't believe it is 10 yrs when I surprised u from US during manmada raja song :) keep doing what u do."
The bosses of the 24 Frames Factory tweeted, "Congratulations to our #RockingStar @HeroManoj1 on completing 10 Yrs in #TeluguFilmIndustry. Wish all good luck to our Hero throughout life." Manchu Manoj's close friend and actor Vennela Kishore tweeted, "Congratulations my dear @HeroManoj1 Chiccha for completing a decade in TFI..may your success get an upgrade n wedding get delayed."
Donga Dongadi is an action comedy film written and directed by Subramaniam Siva, produced by NV Prasad and Sanam Naga Ashok Kumar. It was a remake of Subramaniam Siva's Tamil movie Thiruda Thirudi starring Dhanush and Chaya Singh. The film is all about an irresponsible guy turns responsible and realizes the importance of family values.
Manchu Manoj Kumar played a strong willed reckless guy, who spends most of his time hanging out with his friends, while Sada and Varshita appeared as his love interest in Donga Dongadi. The actor was successful in impressing the viewers with the film becoming super hit at the Box Office. He had even got the Best Male Debut CineMAA Award for his performance in it.
In 10 years, Manchu Manoj Kumar has come a long way. Having starred in 12 movies as hero, he has proved his mettle as a talented actor. Today, he is one of the leading stars of Telugu film industry.
