The item girl, who recently finished recording her maiden pop single, says that she wants to be a successful pop stars like Shakira and Beyonce.

Mumaith Khan will become a singer with her maiden single 'Addiction', which is expected to release soon. She has collaborated with DJ Sheizwood for the single. The hot item girl, who is all excited about it, says that her first song is an electronic dance number, which is a mix of Telugu and English slang. She is very confident that music lovers will be astonished to see her sing and dance.

On Sunday, Mumaith Khan posted a 2.58-minute video on her official YouTube channel and the footage features her singing her version of Underneath Your Clothes, which is one of her favorite songs by Shakira. "I've danced in over 120 item songs and acted in a few films. I want to take it to the next level as a performer. I really love singing and it brings out a side of me that acting and item numbers can't. I want to be someone like a Shakira or Beyonce," Times of India quotes Mumaith Khan as saying.
