OMG! Tollywood Is No.1

Tollywood has been rated first in the list of film industries producing most number of films in the year 2013-2014. It has broken the records of Kollywood and Bollywood. Of the 1966 movies released across the globe, 349 are Telugu movies.

Tamil movies were rated first to release the highest number of movies last year. Now, Telugu films are dominating them from Apirl 2013 - March 2014 respectively.

Though most of the Telugu movies were flop at the box office, movies like Mirchi starring Prabhas, Attarintiki Daredi starring Pawan Kalyan, Race Gurram starring Allu Arjun and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu starring Venkatesh and Maheh Babu in 2013-2014 were blockbuster hits at the box office.

Interestingly, Attarintiki Daredi starring Pawan Kalyan has collected Rs. 74 crore across the globe, in 2013 and none other movies till now has broken its record.

Well, is it important to notice that Tollywood movies are dominating Kollywood and Bollywood in highest number of releases.
