Power
Star
Pawan
Kalyan
has
slammed
the
reports
that
it
was
he
who
recommended
his
nephew
Sai
Dharam
Tej
to
filmmaker
YVS
Chowdary
for
the
movie
Rey.
The
No
1
actor
of
Tollywood
says
that
the
budding
star
from
the
mega
family
approached
him
for
the
suggestions
to
start
his
acting
career.
Instead
of
referring
him
to
a
filmmaker,
he
sent
him
to
an
acting
school
for
training.
Pawan
Kalyan
was
the
chief
guest
at
the
music
launch
of
the
much-delayed
movie
Rey,
which
was
held
on
Friday
night
in
Hyderabad.
The
moment
Pawan
Kalyan
took
to
the
mike,
the
mega
family
fans'
cheers
reached
the
sky.
Addressing
the
function,
the
actor
said,
"When
Tej
approached
me
with
idea
of
starting
his
acting
career,
I
told
him
that
I
am
neither
an
expert
in
acting
to
give
you
suggestions,
nor
an
influential
person
to
recommended
you
to
somebody."
He
added,
"When
a
person
wants
to
enter
the
film
industry,
he
should
have
the
passion
inside
him.
What
ever
amount
of
support
he
will
get
from
his
family,
he
will
not
be
a
successful
actor,
unless
he
has
the
burning
desire
in
himself.
So
I
suggested
him
to
have
that
passion
for
acting
inside
him
first."
Meanwhile,
Pawan
Kalyan
said,
"I
did
not
talk
to
Chowdary
and
I
did
not
recommend
Sai
Dharam
Tej
to
the
director
for
Rey.
What
I
did
was
I
sent
him
to
take
training
acting
in
Barry
John
acting
school
in
Andheri
West,
Mumbai.
I
only
instilled
certain
basic
instincts
in
his
mind."
Talking
about
the
director,
Pawan
Kalyan
said,
"I
like
Chowdary
because
he
is
self-made
man
and
he
has
achieve
a
lot
without
anybody's
support
or
help.
He
has
struggled
a
lot
and
he
has
grown
very
powerful.
Along
with
him,
Tej
has
also
done
lot
of
hard
work
and
Rey
is
the
outcome
of
their
struggle." He
added,
"They
have
faced
many
hurdles,
but
they
tried
it
hard,
kept
their
efforts
on
and
finally
managed
to
overcome
everything."
Speaking
about
the
music
of
Rey,
Pawan
Kalyan
said,
"I
have
heard
the
songs
of
Rey,
which
have
come
out
very
well.
Chakri
has
composed
some
nice
beats
and
I
like
his
music.
Chandra
Bose's
lyrics
are
also
good.
I
feel
Chakri's
music
will
be
one
of
the
main
attractions
in
the
technical
front."
He
added,
"Despite
facing
many
problems,
Chakri
was
stubborn
on
finishing
his
works
for
the
movie."
Pawan
Kalyan
concluded
his
by
saying,
"Telugu
film
industry
is
not
restricted
to
one
family
and
the
stars
from
one
family
can
not
improve
it.
It
will
grow
up
only
when
a
common
man
come
up
in
the
industry.
Like
I
welcomed
Nitin
or
any
other
actor
from
outside
my
family,
I
welcome
and
encourage
Tej
too."
