Photos: Mahesh Babu Sets World Record With Aagadu Police Belt
As a part of its unique promotional strategies, the makers of much-awaited Telugu movie Aagadu starring Superstar Mahesh Babu and Tamanna Bhatia in the leads, unveiled the World's Largest Police Belt at RK Beach in Vizag on September 17. The Aagadu belt is 12,029 feet long and the Tollywood Superstar has set a new world record by unfolding this longest police belt.
Directed by Srinu Vaitla, Aagadu is an action comedy entertainer. Set in the backdrop of Tadipatri town of Ananthapuram District in Rayalaseema, the movie reportedly deals with mining mafia. Mahesh Babu, who is playing a Circle Inspector, will be seen donning a police belt with its buckle featuring the word Aagadu. Its look-alike long police belt was unveiled for the promotion of the movie on Wednesday.
The makers of Aagadu had invited Mahesh Babu fans across the state to attend the event of World's Largest Police Belt. Thousands of fans took part in the function and unveiled the belt at the RK Beach in Vizag. Meanwhile the producers also gave the specially-designed Aagadu merchandises like T-Shirts, belts, key chains, head and wrists bands to the fans on the occasion.
