Prabhas Underwent A Minor Shoulder Surgery: SS Rajamouli

Ace director SS Rajamouli, who is shooting for his magnum opus Baahubali, has revealed that Rebel Star Prabhas has undergone a minor shoulder operation a month ago. The filmmaker, who had kept it under wraps to avoid unwanted speculations, says that the actor is now fine and will soon join the shooting of his upcoming movie.

On Saturday (May 17), SS Rajamouli took to his Twitter page to share the news with his followers. The director wrote, "Prabhas underwent a minor shoulder surgery a month ago.V successfully managed2keep it a secret(to avoid unnecessary speculation) til now but (sic)." He added, "He is absolutely fine now and will be back in action in a month.."

SS Rajamouli continued, "Oops.. He attended his cousin's marriage.. Where he was clicked with his sling... Sorry for the confusion caused..." The director added, "This marriage couldn't be avoided.. The surgery was long due and we planned it in the summer so the unit too can escape the summer heat.."

The shooting of Baahubali, which started at Rock Gardens in Kurnool from 6 July 2013, was put on hold after filming war sequences at the specially-erected set in Ramoji film city in March 2014. During this break, SS Rajamouli was busy campaigning for Jana Satta party in Assembly and Lokh Sabha elections. He is likely to resume the shooting of the film soon.
