Ra Ra Krishnayya Bosses Face Copyrights Violation Charges

After watching Ra Ra Krishnayya, many viewers and film critics claimed that the Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra starrer is an unofficial remake of Hindi film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, but the makers had refuted allegation stating that it was purely coincidence. Finally, TIPS Industries Ltd, the producer of the Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza starrer film has filed a lawsuit against the makers of the Telugu movie.

Weeks after the release of Ra Ra Krishnayya, TIPS Industries Ltd has filed an injunction case against the producer of the Telugu film for violating the Copyrights Act. In a press statement, the production house claimed, "The plot, form, manner, arrangement and expression of the plot and story conceived in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and the prominent characters in the film are very similar in Ra Ra Krishnayya, including the depiction of the personalities of the characters in both the films."

Ra Ra Krishnayya has been written and directed by Mahesh Babu P and produced by Vamsi Krishna Srinivas under the banner SVK Cinemas. Made on a medium budget, the movie released in theatres on July 4 and opened to decent response at the Box Office. It has almost recovered its production cost from its theatrical run for 14 days.

However, it is not clear how much money the bosses of TIPS Industries Ltd have demanded in the lawsuit against the makers of Ra Ra Krishnayya. It should be seen whether the Telugu film producer will pay the fine to them or face their legal battle in the court. Stay locked to this place to read latest updates on it.
