Ace
director
SS
Rajamouli's
upcoming
period
drama
Baahubali
is
growing
bigger
and
better
with
each
passing
day.
The
latest
buzz
is
that
the
makers
are
shelling
out
a
hefty
amount
on
its
special
effects
to
make
it
a
visual
effects
extravaganza.
They
say
that
it
has
huge
amount
of
VFX
works
and
will
beat
the
record
of
Shahrukh
Khan's
Ra.One
and
Hrithik
Roshan's
Krrish
3,
which
had
the
highest
amount
of
VFX
shots.
SRK's
Ra.One,
science
fiction
superhero
film
of
2011,
had
2,500
VFX
shots
incorporated
under
the
supervision
of
Jeffrey
Kleiser
and
it
was
a
big
record
in
the
Indian
cinema.
Recently,
Krrish
3
broke
this
record
by
incorporating
3,500
VFX
shots.
Now,
Baahubali
makers
are
all
set
to
create
a
history
by
including
4,500
VFX
shots.
Shobu
Yarlagadda
describes
that
it
will
be
a
'technical
marvel'
and
VFX
splendor.
"We
want
to
offer
the
audience
a
real
visual
spectacle
and
have
been
working
in
that
direction
from
the
outset.
It's
a
period
drama
that
will
transport
the
audience
into
a
world
of
ancient
forts,
palaces,
epic
war
sequences
and
the
works.
The
VFX
is
going
to
be
the
most
crucial
element
in
the
movie.
We
have
the
best
national
and
international
experts
working
on
the
film," TOI
quotes
producer
Shobu
Yarlagadda
as
saying.
Baahubali
features
Prabhas,
Rana
Daggubati,
Anushka
Shetty
and
Tamanna
in
lead
roles.
It
is
rumoured
that
the
film
is
being
made
with
a
whopping
budget
of
Rs
100
crores
and
will
be
the
first
Telugu
film
to
be
made
on
such
huge
budget.
When
quizzed
about
it,
Shobu
Yarlagadda
declined
to
comment
on
it.
