Vikramasimha Highlights: Countdown Begin For Its Release
Countdown has begun for the release of Soundarya Rajinikanth's much-hyped movie Vikramasimha, which is the Telugu version of Tamil film Kochadaiiyaan. The movie, which is all set hit the screens in Andhra Pradesh on May 23, marks the comeback of Superstar Rajinikanth to the silver screens four years after the release of his 2010 film Robo. His long absence has made his fans wait desperately to watch his latest outing.
Rajinikanth has huge fanbase in the state and the viewers' devotion to him is almost equal to any other present Telugu Superstar. Most of his films, which released with dubbed versions in the past, have done well at the Tollywood Box Office. In fact, his last release Robo is one of the top 20 highest grosser movies in the state. So the makers of his new movie Vikramasimha have planned to release it in record number of cinema halls.
A Rajinikanth film gives viewers enough reasons to throng cinema halls. In addition, the promos of Vikramasimha - posters and videos - have created lot of curiosity among the film goers, who have high expectations from the movie, which has already registered huge amount of advance ticket booking.

Rajiv Menon's Camera Work
Ace cinematographer Rajiv Menon has handled the camera work for Vikramasimha, which was shot using performance capture technology. He has used 48 cameras to shoot each and every scene. The 48 cameras captured performance of artistes' at 48 angles.

Vikramasimha is equipped with Auro 3D sound technology, which will be one of highlights of the film.

Hollywood stunt master Peter Hein has choreographed the action of Vikramasimha. His war scenes and fight sequences will be one among main highlights in the technical front. The film features a fight sequence in the middle of the ocean, where Rajini is seen fighting dolphins, which is on of the main attraction.

Rajinikanth's Rudra Thaandav

Around 50 experienced technicians and 42 students from the Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai have worked in art department of Vikramasimha. The art work will be one of highlights of the film.

National Award winning fashion designer Neeta Lulla worked on the looks and costumes of each character, including Rajinikanth's role. Her costumes will be one of highlights of the film.

Virkamasimha Production
The post-production works of Vikramasimha have been done in the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong, and China. It was shot at Pinewood Studios in the UK with a team of technical experts including the London based Centroid Studios, which has worked on Hollywood productions like World War Z, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ironman 2 and Harry Potter; Counter Punch and Faceware Technologies, which worked on The Mummy 3 and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Rajinikanth-Shobhana’s Romance
Rajinikanth has worked with Shobhana in Thalapathi and the wonderful chemistry between the two was one of the key factors for its success. Twenty five years after its release, Vikramasimha brings back this hit couple to the screen. She is playing one of the two female leads in the film. Her romance with Rajini will be one of the big attractions of the film.
