Ram Charan's Yevadu (5 Days) First Week Collection At Box Office

Ram Charan Teja's much-hyped movie Yevadu, which hit the screens on Sunday after 5 months delay, has done fantabulous collection at the worldwide Box Office in the first week. Its five day business is far better than the seven day collection of 1: Nenokkadine at the AP Box Office. In just five days, this masala entertainer has become the second highest grosser Telugu movie in the first week.

Trade analyst had predicted that 1: Nenokkadine, which released in 1,000+ screens in the state on January 10, would take a toll on the collection of Yevadu, but the Mahesh Babu starrer garnered negative opinion from viewers in single screen. Ignoring this movie, many viewers preferred to watch Yevadu, which released in 720+ screens in the state on January 12. Having registered huge amount of advance ticket booking, the Ram Charan Teja starrer took the Box Office by storm on its first day.

Though Yevadu lacked freshness in terms of story, its high entertainment quotient was successful in impressing the viewers, who gave it thumbs up. The movie maintained rock-steady on the weekdays. It has collected Rs 25.34 crores nett at the AP Box Office, Rs 3.75 crores from its other parts of India and Rs 2.20 crores overseas. It has collected Rs 31.29 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in five-day first week.

In five days, Yevadu has beaten the opening week collection record of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Gabbar Singh and Baadshah, and landed in the second place, while Attarintiki Daredi topped the list of the highest grosser Telugu film at the AP Box Office in the first week.
