Earlier, he was in a relationship with Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu. If the reports are to be believed, Rana was spotted with Ragini Dwivedi, a Sandalwood actress and there were speculations that they were also in a relationship, which apparently became the reason for his separation from Trisha.

Nonetheless, the real reason behind the break up is unknown. But, Trisha seems to have moved on as she was recently spotted with Varun Manian, a entreprenuer turned filmmaker.

Participating in a Telugu Telvision show Rana Daggubatti has opened up and said he likes to party with Samantha. The actor is currently working in two period dramas-Baahubali and Rudhramadevi in Tollywood and he has recently completed shooting for Hindi movie Baby with Akshay Kumar.
