Ravi Teja's Power Clears Censor Board Test

Actor Ravi Teja's much-awaited Telugu movie Power starring Hansika Motwani and Regina Cassandra in the female leads, has cleared the formalities of the Regional Censor Board, which has awarded an 'A' certificate to the film. Now, the most-talked about flick is gearing up for a massive release across the globe on September 12.

The makers of Power arranged a special screening of the movie for the officials of the Censor Board in Hyderabad today (September 3). The film has a few high-voltage action scenes and the officials reportedly suggested its makers to trim them so that it would get U/A certificate. Since they were crucial for the film, the filmmakers declined to delete them. Instead they accepted the 'A' certificate.

PRO SKN confirmed the news about Censor Board certification for Power. On his Twitter page, he wrote, "Massmaharaj Raviteja @dirbobby @ReginaCassandra @ihansika @MusicThaman Rockline Venkatesh's #Power censored & got A certificate.12th Release."

Power is a romantic action thriller with high entertainment quotient. Popular scriptwriter Bobby aka KS Ravindra is turning director with this movie, which also marks the entry of Kannada film producer Rockline Venkatesh into Tollywood. S Thaman has composed music for the movie, which has garnered very good response from the music lovers. Arthur A Wilson has handled the camera work for the film.
