Ravi Teja's Power (Friday) First Day Collection At Box Office

Scriptwriter Bobby aka KS Ravindra's much-talked debut directorial venture Power has finally hit the marquee after a long wait and received an overwhelming response from the film-goers across the globe. The Ravi Teja, Hansika Motwani and Regina Cassandra starrer has made fantastic collection at the Box Office on the first day and beaten the record of Mass Maharaja's previous release Balupu.

The promos of Power have soared up the viewers' curiosity and expectations sky high prior its release. Considering the hype, the makers of the movie made the advance ticket available a week before its release. The movie has registered huge amount of bookings for the first day. Especially in multiplexes, it has very good records. Trade experts predicted it to run to packed houses everywhere.

Power has released in more than 900 screens across the globe today (September 12). Ravi Teja mania has hit its peak as the theatres screening the movie witnessed unprecedented crowd in the morning and matinee shows on its opening day. The film has registered 100% occupancy in both multiplexes and single screens in cities. It has decent amount of footfalls in other areas too. Its business went upwards in evening and nights.

The Ravi Teja starrer commercial entertainer has collected approximately Rs 4.75 crores at the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Box Office on the first day. His last hit movie Balupu had collected Rs 1.56 crore in the Nizam region. Now, his latest outing Power has broken this record by raking in Rs 1.9 crores in the area on its opening day.

Power has received mixed reviews from the film critics, which are likely to take a toll on its collection over the weekend. Even the film goers have mixed opinions about the movie.
