a
plum
role
in
actor
Prithviraj's
upcoming
movie
Sapthama
Sree
Thaskaraha
(SST),
which
will
be
directed
by
Anil
Radhakrishnan
Menon.
Actress
Nyla
Usha
was
to
play
the
female
lead
in
it,
but
Reenu
has
replaced
her
after
she
walked
out
of
the
project
quoting
dates
issue.

himself
has
confirmed
the
news
about
casting
Reenu
Mathews
for
the
female
lead
in
his
forthcoming
film
Sapthama
Sree
Thaskaraha.
"Reenu
will
be
seen
in
a
different
avatar
in
my
film.
She
will
play
a
bolder
woman
unlike
the
shy
and
simple
roles
she
has
played
in
her
earlier
outings," the
TOI
quoted
the
director
as
saying
about
her
role
in
the
movie.
Meanwhile,
Reenu
Mathews
says
that
she
is
excited
to
work
with
Prithviraj.
She
told
TOI,
"Everyone
used
to
ask
me
when
I
will
work
with
other
actors
and
it
has
happened
now.
I
am
happy
to
work
with
a
new
generation
actor
like
Prithviraj
and
an
award
winning
director
too.
I
have
completed
two
days
of
shoot
and
will
join
the
set
next
month.
Initially,
I
was
a
bit
tense
as
the
entire
team
was
new,
but
the
shoot
was
fun,"
Reenu
Mathews,
who
is
full-time
flight
attendant,
started
her
acting
career
with
Mammootty's
movie
Immanuel,
which
was
released
in
theatres
on
April
4,
2013.
Later,
she
has
featured
in
Dulquar
Salman's
Anchu
Sundharikal
and
Mammookka's
another
movie
Praise
The
Lord.
She
has
also
completed
shoot
for
Amal
Neerad's
Iyobinte
Pusthakam.
She
will
now
play
Prithviraj's
wife
in
Sapthama
Sree
Thaskaraha.
