So Happy With Unanimous Positive Reports On Manam: Samantha

    Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who started her acting career with Gautham Menon's Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010, has completed five years in the film industry. She has had a very successful journey and a string of hit films has made her the golden girl of Tollywood. The earth-shattering opening of her latest movie Manam has added another feature to the crown of the actress, who has all thanks for her fans for their support.

    Written and directed by Vikram Kumar, Manam is a comedy period drama featuring three generation stars of Akkineni family in the lead. Samantha has essayed two roles in the film. In the flashback story, she appears as a mother of a six-year-old son, who is unhappy with her marriage. She has played a college girl in the present era. The actress has delivered brilliant performance for both roles.

    Samantha's performance, which is one of the main highlights of Manam, has garnered positive response from both film critics as well as movie buffs. The actress is elated over their response. She took to her Twitter page to thank them for their support. She tweeted, "So so happy with the unanimous positive reports on Manam..God's favt child 5th year in a row.. Thankyou so much for all your support."

    In five years, Samantha has starred in nearly 20 movies in Telugu and Tamil and more than 15 of them have become big hits at the Box Office.     In her debut film Ye Maaya Chesave, Samantha played a Christian girl, who is in love a Hindu boy. She has bagged two Best Female Debut awards from Filmfare and CineMAA Award.

    Samantha appeared as Junior NTR's love interest in Brindavanam, which is triangular love story featuring Kajal Aggarwal as another heroine.

    Samantha In Dookudu

    In Blockbuster movie Dookudu, Samantha played Superstar Mahesh Babu's love interest, who is the daughter of a police office. She was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Telugu in 2012.

    Samantha In Eega

    In Blockbuster movie Eega, Samantha essayed the role of micro artist Bindu, who runs Project 511, an NGO. Her wonderful performance has bagged her three Best Actress awards from CineMAA, Filmfare and Santhosham.

    Samantha played Nani's childhood sweetheart Nithya in 2012 hit film Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu.
