Shruti Hassan Doing Item Song For Mahesh Babu's Aagadu

Several leading Telugu actresses have already come forward to do item numbers in the recent months. The latest actress to join their band wagon is none other than Shruti Hassan. The Gabbar Singh star will be seen shaking legs with Superstar Mahesh Babu in the item song of director Srinu Vaitla's much-hyped movie Aagadu, which will have SS Thaman-composed soundtracks and background score.

A speculation about Shruti Hassan's item number went viral on the social media soon after the first look teaser of Aagadu was unleashed on the internet. It was buzzed that she has already shot for the song and the music video will be released online this week. SS Thaman took to his Twitter page to confirm the news. He tweeted, "Here We Go Guys the NewS is @shrutihaasan will be rocking the Special Song in #Aagadu."

Shruti Hassan started her acting career Sanjay Dutt's Hindi film Luck in 2009. Later, she forayed into Telugu with Anaganaga O Dheerudu in 2011. In a span of five years, she has acted in nearly 15 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages, but she has never appeared in an item song. This is for the first time she has come forward to an item number. We will have to wait to see how Telugu audience will receive it.
