After
a
spate
of
flops
across
different
genres
such
as
mythology,
action
and
thrillers,
Telugu
actor
Meka
Srikanth
is
all
set
to
make
his
comeback
with
his
forthcoming
movie
Malligadu
Marriage
Bureau
(MMB).
He
has
pinned
all
his
hopes
on
the
Telugu
comedy.
He
says
it
will
give
him
a
much
needed
hit.
Talking
about
Malligadu
Marriage
Bureau,
Srikanth
told
IANS,
"Audiences
have
loved
my
comedy
entertainers
such
as
'Vinodham'
and
'Pelli
Sandadi'.
After
a
long
time,
I'm
doing
a
full-length
comedy
film.
I
hope
it
will
be
accepted
by
the
audience
and
I'm
positive
it
will
give
me
the
hit
I've
been
waiting
for."
Srikanth's
last
few
duds
include
Lucky,
Devaraya,
Shatruvu,
Shadow
and
Kshatriya
over
the
last
few
years.
The
actor
said,
"In
the
last
few
years,
I've
been
busy
doing
a
lot
of
action
films.
I
suppose
the
audience
have
gotten
bored
of
seeing
me
in
such
films.
Therefore,
I
feel
this
film
will
come
as
a
welcome
change
and
make
them
laugh
till
their
jaws
drop."
Malligadu
Marriage
Bureau,
which
has
been
directed
by
Uday
Raj,
features
actress
Manochitra
in
the
female
lead,
while
comedian
Brahmanandam
will
be
essaying
an
important
role.
Meanwhile,
Srikanth
will
soon
start
shooting
for
yet-to-be-titled
Telugu
project,
which
also
stars
Ram
Charan
Teja.
