Actress Tamanna Bhatia, who forayed into Tollywood with the 2005 movie Sri, has been a part of several hit romantic comedy entertainers in the industry for the last nine years. She has worked with Superstars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Junior NTR. She has played different kinds of roles too. But the milky beauty has not achieved one rare feat and that is action roles. However, she is finally set to do stunts for Baahubali.
Baahubali is a period drama and Tamanna is playing the role of Avantika. A recent video released by the makers of the movie hints at some major war sequences in this film. The actress will be a part of some heavy duty action sequences. The milky beauty, who has not really done any action sequences in her career till date, was reportedly all excited to perform dare devil stunts, which were choreographed by Hollywood stunt master Peter Heins.
The film unit has almost completed its shooting, which went on for more than a year. They have recently announced the start of dubbing works of the Telugu version of the film, which will release in multiple languages. The dubbing work is now going on at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. On its official Facebook page, the bosses posted, "Baahubali Telugu dubbing has commenced. Mahaabali (Tamil) dubbing will commence soon."
However, it should be said here that not many Telugu actresses have tried out their hands in action roles. Anushka Shetty is one actress, who was seen carrying such roles with lot of ease and grace in a couple of movies in the past. With the first part of Baahubali slated to release in Summer 2015, it should be seen whether glam girl Tamanna will be able to impress the viewers with her action quotient.
