Rumours about the acting debut of the actor in making, Akhil Akkineni have been doing rounds in the Telugu film industry for quite long time. The son of Nagarjuna and grandson of late legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who recently played a cameo role in Super-hit film Manam, has now made up his mind to debut as hero in Tollywood and has requested his followers on Twitter to suggest the kind of movies he should act in.
Akhil Akkineni took to his Twitter page today (June 4) to ask for the suggestion of his followers. He wrote, "Good morning my twitter buddy's. A favour to ask from all of you ! Please tweet at me what sort of movie you would like to see me in." He added, "Waiting to see all your tweets ! Thank you once again for all your support and encouragement :)"
After the release of Manam, Akhil Akkineni had thanked director Vikram Kumar for giving him a chance to feature in his grandfather's last film. On May 24, he tweeted, "Thank you all once again for the continuous encouragement and love. I feel blessed to have got this opportunity. Vikram Kumar you beauty :)"
Akhil Akkineni's cameo in Manam has received rave reviews not only from viewers, but also from leading Telugu stars. Even Superstar Mahesh Babu has appreciated his performance in the film. On June 1, the actor tweeted, "Pleasantly surprised by Akhil's cameo in the end..the boy has amazing screen presence....a star to look out for in the future.:)"
The budding actor is overwhelmed by the viewers' response for his performance in Manam and he has all thanks for their love and support. On May 30, he tweeted, "I thank you all once again for all the love and appreciation you have showered upon me. #Manam will always be dear to my heart. #ANRLIVESON"
