BOX OFFICE: Baahubali Day 1 Early Estimates

Baahubali indeed created a storm at the box office on it's release day. Though the movie opened up to a huge release, the crowds are still over flowing failing to grab a ticket on it's first day.

The craze around Baahubali is something never seen before in Telugu and the way Rajamouli took forward the project must be appreciated and considered as a case study for the ideal way of promoting a film.

According to trade sources, the Telugu version will alone be collecting a share of 18.5 crores on its first day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with an estimated gross of 24-25 crores.

The figures might change after considering the unreported screens and night shows. But it surely breaks the previous record with a great margin. The all time highest gross record of Day 1 is with Attarintiki Daredi for collecting 10.75 Cr on its day 1.

If the early estimates are to be believed Baahubali will be collecting what both Attarintiki Daredi and Shankar's I together collected on Day 1
