It is confirmed by Ram Charan that the comeback film of Chiranjeevi will be a remake of Kaththi and the project will be helmed by V V Vinayak. Highly placed sources from Tamil industry also added that Lyca Productions, who produced the Tamil version, will co-produce the film in Telugu, along with Ram Charan's Konidela Productions.
Apparently, the little birdies inform us that Bollywood actor Vivek Oberai is likely to play the role of a greedy industrialist, with whom Megastar will lock horns to save his village. This role was originally played by Neil Nithin Mukesh.
Since Vivek had also made a positive image with Rakta Charitra and Krish 3 dubbed version, among Telugu audiences, makers are reportedly considering him to play the antagonist role in the Telugu remake.
