Jagapathi Babu's Father V B Rajendra Prasad Passes Away!

The renowned producer and father of actor Jagapathi Babu's father V B Rajendra Prasad took his last breath yesterday, January 12. He was 82 years old and died due to age releated health problems in a private hospital.

V B Rajendra Prasad has produced 16 films in Tollywood under his own banner Jagapathi Arts. He was born at Gudiwala of Krishna district in 1932 on November 4. The veteran producer has also directed few movies including Dasara Bullodu, starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Vanisri, and Chandrakala which a blockbuster hit in those days.

V B Rajendra Prasad was survived by his son Jagapathi Babu, who is doing well in Tollywood and Kollywood for his antagonist roles in the movies. Jagapathi Babu was recently seen in Rajinikanth starrer Lingaa and the debut of Sai Dharam Tej's Pilla Nuvvu Lene Jeevitham in the rough antagonist roles.

V B Rajendra Prasad was also a trustee for Film Nagar Devasthanam in Hyderabad. Let his soul rest in peace, our hearty condolences to Jagapathi Babu and family.
