After
Ganga
and
Lion,
it
is
Uttama
Villain's
turn
to
face
its
share
of
debacles.
In
fact,
the
film
has
already
suffered
a
great
loss
because
of
an
unwanted
controversy
in
Tamilnadu.
After
beating
out
the
odds,
Kamal
Haasan's
Uttama
Villain
was
announced
to
hit
screen
on
1
May
in
Both
Tamil
and
Telugu.
But
it
seems
unlikely
now
due
to
producer's
financial
disturbances.
While
controversies
raked
on
the
film,
producer
C
Kalyan
came
to
the
rescue
of
the
film
and
bagged
the
rights
of
Telugu
version.
But
now,
he
is
unable
to
bail
out
the
film
from
financiers.
Only
if
the
finances
gets
cleared
before
the
last
week
of
April,
the
film
will
see
the
light
on
1
May.
If
not,
Uttama
Villain
will
join
the
league
of
Ganga
and
Lion.
Balakrishna's
Lion
was
also
supposed
to
release
on
1
May
but
financial
hurdles
and
few
technical
glitches
pushed
the
film
to
7
May.
On
the
Other
side,
some
of
the
small
films
like
Lakshmi
Manchu's
Dongata,
are
trying
to
cash
on
the
loss
of
the
big
films.
They
are
gearing
up
to
hit
screens
on
May
1,
to
make
the
most
of
the
long
weekend.
However,
we
cannot
completely
rule
out
the
release
of
Uttama
Villain
on
1
May,
since
too
many
big
names
are
involved
with
the
film.
The
financial
hurdles
might
get
settled
at
any
minute.
Meanwhile,
let
us
just
hope
it
arrives
on
the
given
date.
