BOX OFFICE: Balakrishna's Lion First Day Collections

Balakrishna's Lion released amidst poor pre-release business and comparatively less hype since its trailers were not so impressive.

Despite lack of buzz, good reports and reviews has fetched in surprisingly great number for Lion, on its first day of release. Undoubtedly, the entire credit goes to Balakrishna for his stamina in the masses.

Also, due to delayed shows and financial disturbances in the minute, Lion was released from noon show in many areas in Ceeded and Guntur, bringing in a lose around 20-40 lakhs.

Despite all these factors, Lion has collected a share of 5.5 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone, on its first day. Though it did not set any new records, that was a decent number in the given scenario.
