Mahesh Babu Turns Real Srimanthudu, To Adopt A Village Each From Telugu States

Mahesh Babu has turned a Srimanthudu himself. It is known that Srimanthudu, the story of a rich guy who moves away from his luxuries to do good for his village, has inspired many till date and is spinning crores at the box office.

Apparently, it has inspired the Superstar too. As we reported earlier, Mahesh Babu has decided to adopt his own Village, Burripalem and develop it with his own expenses.

In addition to that, Mahesh Babu took to twitter to inform that he will also be adopting a village from Telangana from the most backward district Mahabubnagar.

His tweet read that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu's Smart Village initiative has prompted him to adopt a village and he thanked Jay Galla, Guntur MP and Mahesh's BIL, for making it possible.

Mahesh informed that KTR, Telangana Minister for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, has made a congratulatory call and suggested him to adopt a village from the most backward district of Mahabubnagar as part of Telangana Government's Grama Jyothi initiative.
